Information Technology Manager-Senior Project Manager
Job Summary
The Senior Project Manager is expected to manage one or more large, complex, multifaceted projects. This could include a large enterprise wide software upgrade such as Epic 2012 upgrade or an enterprise wide initiative such as managing the migration to ICD-10. The Senior Project Manager has the responsibility to manage all aspects of the projects including resourcing from IT, Clinical Systems teams, consultants and vendors. Additionally the senior project manager is responsible for managing the scope, schedule, resources and financial budgets for the projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
- 8 + years of project management experience
- 5 + years of experience of working in the Healthcare industry
- Increasing responsibility and complexity of work assignment
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory, management position
- Managing cross disciplinary project team of more than 5 people in the last 3 years
- Accountable for project budget in access of one million dollars in the last 3 years
- Responsible for resource allocation in the last 3 years
- Ability to work outside of office hours
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- PMI Certification
- Experience of implementing / upgrading EPIC is highly desirable
- Clinical work flow analysis and redesign
- A Masters degree
Licensure/Certification
- Valid CA Driver's License
